Waterdown Addition – on the main floor
With this waterdown addition project, we took an existing 50-year-old bungalow that was dated and cramped at only 1000 sq. ft. We added an additional 3000 square feet of usable, livable interior space!! That’s triple the size!!
The main floor on this project is open-concept with a large kitchen, dining room, family room, full bathroom. And we didn’t even show the office!
We have a beautiful navy blue 4’ x 9’ island, Carrera marble backsplash, double wall oven, gold pot filler, fixtures and hardware! Standing in the kitchen you can see and enjoy the original wood-burning fireplace. This was the only part of the original main floor that was kept! This was protected throughout the entire addition project (6 months under construction). Our clients wanted to save this piece, so wrapped it, boarded it and kept it safe until we were ready to open it up and light a beautiful fire!
This main floor also has a simple, sophisticated custom built-in with walnut countertop and more storage! Our last stop on the video is this amazing black and white full bathroom.
